Hi, I’m Lucie, the founder of Laurea Studio.
Thank you for being here.
My journey into the healing arts has quietly unfolded over more than two decades. Although my early career began in the civil service, I was always drawn to nature-based traditions, energy healing and the subtle relationship between body, mind and spirit.
I first trained in Reiki and foot reflexology, offering intuitive treatments alongside my professional work. Later, while becoming a mother, I completed a degree in textile design. This period deepened my sensitivity to texture, rhythm and nuance - qualities that continue to inform how I approach healing and touch today.
Then life asked more of me. Through periods of fatigue, healing from CPTSD and navigating an unexpected autoimmune condition, I came to understand how essential it is to pause, soften and reconnect. These experiences reshaped my relationship with rest and revealed the profound impact of nervous system regulation on overall wellbeing.
It was during this time that I discovered facial reflexology. I recognised how working through the face can offer a direct and supportive pathway for releasing stored tension and supporting emotional integration.
Over the years, I’ve explored a range of complementary approaches including quantum healing, breathwork, facial yoga and meditation. Silent retreats and restorative practices taught me that true rest is not an absence of doing, but a return to presence.
Specialising in facial reflexology became a natural extension of everything I had learned. A way to bring together therapeutic healing, nervous system intelligence and natural facial rejuvenation. This work transformed my own relationship with my body and now forms the foundation of how I support others.
My lived experience has shaped the way I hold space: with sensitivity, intuition and respect for each person’s unique story. I find deep fulfilment in witnessing clients allow themselves to rest, seeing their features soften, their energy lift, and hearing that they feel calmer, sleep better or simply feel more like themselves again.
My intention is simple: to offer an unhurried, nurturing space where you feel truly seen, heard and supported, so you can reconnect with yourself and return to your life feeling steadier, lighter and more centred.
I am a registered member of the Reflexology Association of British Columbia (RABC) and I’m currently in the process of registering with the Reflexology Association of Canada, with advanced training in facial reflexology and ongoing professional development in nervous system support and women’s health.
Welcome home. 🪷
