Menopause Reflexology

A nurturing path through perimenopause, menopause and beyond

Menopause Reflexology offers focused, compassionate support for women navigating physical, emotional and nervous system changes associated with perimenopause, menopause, medical menopause and post menopause.

This specialised, whole-body treatment is designed to reduce overwhelm, support hormonal balance and help the body move out of prolonged stress patterns. Working with reflexes on the face, hands and feet, the treatment supports communication between the brain, nervous system and endocrine system, helping to restore a sense of steadiness and resilience through this natural life transition.

This nurturing treatment helps you feel more like you again, with many clients reporting feeling calmer, more grounded and more like themselves again, with symptoms becoming easier to manage over time.

How Menopause Reflexology can support you

This treatment may be helpful if you are experiencing:

  • Hot flushes, night sweats or temperature fluctuations

  • Disrupted or poor-quality sleep

  • Headaches, dizziness or tension

  • Mood changes, irritability, low mood or anxiety

  • Digestive discomfort

  • Brain fog or memory lapses

  • Fatigue or low energy

  • Joint aches or muscular tension

Each session is always adapted to your symptoms, energy levels and comfort on the day.

A considered, whole-body approach

Hormonal changes can affect far more than the reproductive system alone. Shifts in oestrogen and progesterone influence the nervous system, sleep, mood, skin health, energy levels and emotional resilience, often over many years, not just during menopause itself.

Menopause Reflexology works gently to support circulation, nervous system regulation and hormonal communication. While the primary focus is wellbeing and symptom relief, many women also notice they feel brighter, more rested and more at ease in their bodies.

What makes this treatment different is its whole-body method - working with the face, hands and feet to harmonise the endocrine system, support hormonal balance, calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, the treatment supports the body as an interconnected system - physically, emotionally and energetically.

Reflexology does not aim to override your body or ‘fix’ menopause. It works alongside the body’s natural processes, offering steady, holistic support through change. It can be enjoyed on its own or as a supportive series, and can be safely combined with medical care or HRT if that is part of your journey.

How it works

Reflexology involves applying precise, intentional pressure to reflex points that correspond with organs and systems throughout the body.

In Menopause Reflexology, particular attention is given to reflexes linked to the hormonal and stress-response systems, including those associated with the hypothalamus, pituitary and thymus. These systems play a central role in hormone regulation, sleep and emotional balance.

By supporting nervous system regulation and reducing the stress response, the body is better able to adapt to hormonal fluctuations, often leading to a gradual easing of symptoms and improved day-to-day wellbeing.

What to expect

Your session begins with time to discuss how menopause is affecting you personally, including your symptoms, energy levels and any areas of concern. The treatment is then tailored accordingly, using a considered blend of facial, hand and foot reflexology.

You’ll remain comfortably clothed (removing only shoes and socks), and I recommend wearing loose clothing with a neckline that allows access to the neck area. Warm towels are used for the face, and an indulgent foot soak is included to support grounding and relaxation.

Sessions are unhurried and restorative, allowing space for the body and nervous system to respond naturally. Many women leave feeling calmer, steadier and better resourced to meet the demands of daily life.

Where appropriate, I may also share simple hand reflexology techniques or gentle self-care suggestions to support you between sessions.

Is Menopause Reflexology right for you?

This treatment may be particularly supportive if you are:

  • Experiencing physical or emotional menopause symptoms.

  • Living with symptoms that affect sleep, mood or energy.

  • Feeling overwhelmed, anxious or depleted.

  • Seeking natural, non-invasive menopause support.

  • Wanting nervous system regulation alongside hormonal change.

  • Looking for supportive care that works alongside medical treatment or HRT.

  • Wanting dedicated time to rest, reset and feel more like yourself again.

A supportive treatment journey

Menopause Reflexology can be booked as a single session during particularly challenging periods. However, because reflexology works cumulatively, many women find greater benefit through regular sessions over time.

A gentle rhythm of weekly sessions over several weeks allows the nervous and hormonal systems to be supported consistently through a season of change. Shorter supportive series are also available, and we can always discuss what feels right for you — without pressure or expectation.
