Introduction
Welcome to Laurea Studio. By using this website and my services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline information about appointments, cancellations, payments and safety to ensure a positive experience. Please take time to read them carefully.
1. General
Laurea Studio provides professional reflexology and reiki treatments to promote relaxation and support overall wellbeing. Information provided on this website, associated social media pages or at a session is for general educational purposes only, and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have a health problem, medical emergency or a general health question, it is recommended that you consult your doctor.
2. Appointments and Booking
All treatments are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked through the website, by phone or via email. All bookings are subject to availability.
Your contact details are required at the time of booking and you will receive an email confirmation of your appointment. I kindly ask that you to put it in your calendar and set a reminder.
Your booked treatment time includes:
a brief health consultation to assess your needs
time for you to prepare for the treatment
personalised hands-on treatment time
a short conversation at the end to discuss any aftercare advice.
To allow yourself to fully enjoy the session, please turn off all cell/smart phones and any other electronic devices.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
I understand that special circumstances can occur and a cancellation may be necessary. Please allow at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel, change or postpone your appointment. If you need to reschedule, I will make every effort to accommodate your new preferred time.
Short notice cancellations and no shows will result in the full cost of the appointment.
4. Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and include GST. Payment is required at the time of booking or upon arrival at the clinic. The following payments are accepted:

cash - please have the correct amount as I do not carry change.
All payments are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon for extenuating circumstances. If a session is cancelled by me, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
All prices are subject to change. Any amendments will be reflected on the website.
5. Refunds
Refunds are not provided for completed services. If you are unsatisfied with your experience, please contact me and I will do my best to address your concerns.
Products purchased may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unused and undamaged, in their original, unopened packaging.
6. Treatment Packages
If you book a programme of treatments at a discounted rate, full payment is due on the day of the first treatment. Programmes are non-refundable and the discounted rate cannot be applied retrospectively. If you reserve a single treatment and decide to purchase a programme afterwards, that treatment can be included within the package.
7. Gift Certificates
Gift vouchers are available for purchase and are valid for a period of 6 months from the date issued. After a 14-day cooling off period, vouchers are non-refundable. Gift certificates are not normally transferrable. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or a partial refund. Please present your gift certificate at the time of your booking.
Laurea Studio is not responsible for any lost or otherwise unusable certificates.
Promotions: Any special promotions or discounts are subject to availability and may not be combined with other offers.
8. Client Conduct
Laurea Studio strives to provide a peaceful and relaxing environment for all clients and as such asks that clients maintain a respectful attitude during their session. Laurea Studio reserves the right to refuse service and cancel a session immediately, without refund, to anyone who displays signs of inappropriate, disruptive or sexual behaviour, and/or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs upon arrival.
Client comfort and preferences: If at any point during your treatment you feel uncomfortable, please let me know immediately. I am happy to adjust the pressure, technique or other aspects of the treatment to ensure your comfort.
9. Health and Safety
Client responsibility: It is your responsibility to inform me (Lucie Peslova at Laurea Studio) of any existing medical conditions, injuries and/or allergies prior to your treatment. This includes, and is not limited to, conditions such as pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and any recent surgeries or injuries.
Reflexology and reiki treatments are not a substitute for medical treatment. If you are under medical care or have any concerns regarding your health, please consult your healthcare provider before booking a session.
Laurea Studio may request that you fill out a health questionnaire before your first treatment to ensure your safety.
10. Limitation of Liability
Laurea Studio is not liable for any injuries, losses or damages that may occur during or after treatments. Clients are responsible for providing accurate health information to ensure safe and effective treatments.
It is important to acknowledge that the outcomes of treatments can vary from person to person. Laurea Studio does not guarantee any specific health outcomes or relief from symptoms.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal and health information will be kept confidential. Your information will not be shared with any third parties without your consent, except for where required by law.
Your personal data will be protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For more details, please refer to our privacy policy.
12. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Laurea Studio reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
